She goes to school
A bruise on her eye
She scared to confess
Covers up with a lie
A girl sees the scratches
All up her arm
She starts to catch on
But says no harms been done
Some days she sits
In the bathroom and cries
A student tells the teacher
The teacher just sighs
Everyday after school
She goes home to parents so cruel
That she wonders how long
Her life will go on
One night she prayed
And after her amen
She decided to take her life
There and then
As she walked to the medicine cabinet
She saw a paper, a pen and grabbed it
She scribbled a note tell who finds how she died
Told them not to worry
It was a painless suicide
Then she swallowed a bottle of pills
Proof that pain and misery kills
Finally, finally
She would found a way out
Though all along
She had some doubt
Now flowers surround her grave
Inscribed in bold letters:
A life we couldnt save
Her class mates eyes
Are filled with tears
The girl who caught on
Shudders in fear
People blame themselves
Because they were too late
She couldnt control much
But she controlled her fate
