In the night
I stand alond
I am waiting for something
Something unknown

I see you standing
In the night alone
You are waiting for something
Something unknown

Again in the night
I stand alone
I amm waiting for something
Something unknown

Again in the night
You stand alone
You are waiting for something
Something now known

You see me standing
In the night alone
I am waithing for something
Something unknown

I see you walking
You are walking my way
I ask you to go
You tell me to stay

You see me shaking
You know I am afraid
You stop walking
I turn away

Again in the night
You stand alone
You are waiting for me
I will not come

Again alone
I stand at night
I feel your soul
It is searching for mine

Alone at night
You search for me
You feel my soul
It needs to be freed

Alone at night
I stand again
I see you coming
Your search is at an end

You see me standing
In the night alone
You come no closer
You know I will run

You want from me
What no other cares
You ask of me
What no other dares

Once in the night
We stood alone
Now in the light
We stand as one
