as i sit here alone,
i cant help but wander why i'm here

i look around and take in what i see...

i watch the hustle and bustle of people,
who live their lives from day to day...

...happy, with seemingly no cares at all

yet i feel none of what they do.

why are they so happy?
why do they act so free?

why do i sit here alone,
feeling as if i'm caged?

i cry out for someone to help me,
for someone to help me understand

but no one can hear me...
...no one can see.

they all continue living,
and being free

while i sit here alone and wait...
...wait for someone to see
