As I look around I wonder,
is what I see really there?

I look up through the trees
at the night sky covered in stars.
I marvel at it's mystery.

As I sit there,
I stare at the stars
and marvel in their beauty.

With everything wrong
with the world today,
you almost forget these things.

I sit here in the forest
and watch the stars and sky.
Here I find solace.

Here I find eternal bliss.

*stares up at the stars as well* Yes, they truly are beautiful when you take time to enjoy them. Another thing that's beautiful when you look at it, is the friendship we have. I figured I'd let you know...I truly do enjoy it. ~Tracy

Beautiful! It really does put things in perspective, doesn't it? The same sky will be there overlooking countless generations long after our greatest tragedies are forgotten and buried in dust. Ciao, T/S

good write. "In the grand scheme of things humans are but a flicker of time when compared to the age of the trees, the earth, the seas, the stars, and the very sky."
