nor apology
for I could not hope to countenance
the myriad mazes of your mind in memory
with this in supple simplicity;

in agony
born from sometime night dream
Of gashes through seam to seat of soul
internally shows full of hollowed dust

And of what few glances remain to be seen
howling in hours yet deserted
city of narrow streets
as the clock winds down

no - this is Thank You
for each memory elicted
and the images you inspired
delighted, and enlightened

what more - I cannot say
only admire.

I like the way the pain is just below the surface: "Of gashes through seam to seat of soul", and yet the pain is nothing but motivation and welcomed in memory...subtle, unique tone

I figured that this would inspire my distaste, my chagrin. I seem to enter in this expectation now, and it saddens me. There is such a way with this work that entrances me, the jarring rhythm, the subtle imagery and the beautiful conclusion

I have not read anything for a while, have not dared gaze to find myself sorrowful in the witness of garish display, you exemplify the work of true artists, raw unabashes inspiration explored fitfully and admirably...this is not poetry...

Attempting redefintion, interconnection to another dimension of flow, portents of the continuing entropy, we shape, mould and redefine to our hearts content, never forget the beginnings, they are what remain in the end :)
