How intricate the device
held between your tapered fingers
long and supple are they clasped
about the hilt, slenderly slashing
like a careful prognostician
inside the empty pit that was my stomach
And with time passing in measurements
as sand and dust pours out of my deepest wounds,
I gaze blanky at your starless eyes

- I cannot help but only wonder
as my hands punch through your human ribcage
what your palpy heart shall taste like
