is it wrong to want to be
so thin you cannot be seen?
so that everybody that passes by
sees right through you?

this may sound stupid
to you
but to me
its everything

i hate to walk into a crowd
and hear people laugh
it makes me want
to just melt away

why me?

just my luck
my genes have shrunk

and i've sunk
to the bottom
of this suss pool
we call life

always stranded
by the weight of my world

I've read this a few times now, and every time I start to comment, I realize that I don't know what to say. So, as a mark of what I think of this piece and to satisfy myself, I'll settle with a simple "Wow, I like this poem, and I love your writing style"

Despite how cliche a remark that may be, I guess it will have to do.
