Isn't it funny how you could love someone
And the next day wish that they were gone?
Isn't it funny how you can feel so loved
And then realize that you were wrong?

Isn't it strange that if love isn't a game
That someone always loses anyway?
Isn't it strange how someone can give out their heart
And then steal it back away?

Isn't it grand how you prepare and you plan
Just to have your dreams ripped at the seams?
Isn't it grand how you promise and plead
Just to break something that you had just cleaned?

Isn't it horrid, doesn't it make you florid
How he can just stand their and lie to your face?
Isn't it horrid and particularly sordid
How he makes you fall down in disgrace?

Isn't it funny how love and hate
So often coincide?
It's funny my dear, happy as I appear
I hate you and love you inside.
