a beautiful moment flew past on bat's wings...

framed eternity

skipped heartbeats

and
left my mouth
a sigh more than a breath.

transcendence?

fragmentation?

or just

oxygen deprivation?

Shouldn't breathing be a primal instinct?
why am i the only one
who needs to remind herself
just
to
BREATHE

and as i gain the will...

the lungs lose the strength.

i am losing this race.

though
not so lost
as to let a moment

this beautiful...

this clear...

this pure...

go by unnoticed.

everything beautiful was equally tragic

in the rare raw power
of moments like these...

twitching under ghost fingers
trailing along my spine...

memories,
ghosts,
or demons?

who is the haunter if i am the haunted?

doubt and pride
are the only names i know you by.

for as long as i see you
in the corner of my eye
i will simply call you my

*SHADOW*

There are far too many beautiful and meaningful lines in this. Too lovely for words.
