what would our lives be like if the people we trusted actually turned out to be worth trusting?
what would happen if no one lied?
is human nature enough to excuse the fact that every single person drawing oxygen through our pollutant ravaged lungs is a ginormous peice of shit just waiting to hurt anyone they can, just to make life a tiny bit less painful for themselves.

would the world come to an end?
if one person, just one fucking person,
reached out to touch someone in need.

a friend helped a friend.
a butcher petted the cow.

touch me.
destroy me.
end my fucking world.

give me the anesthetic of sweet seductive armageddon.

prove to me
before i breathe my last
that there are still people worth dying for
in this world

lie to me one more time.

you used the word ginormous. that is so awesome. anyway, i feel your pain. we all think like this from time to time but trust me, there are things in this world worth dying for, and more importantly, living for.
