Happy fucking birthday to me...
Feeling loved by everyone else,
Feeling lonely again,
for you.

Here I am singing that same old song again,
for you.
Drying the eyes,
Wondering these lies,
Hoping again,
for you.

You give and then take,
Caress and then break,
This heart that lives only for you.
The things I'd do,
The things I've done,
What wouldnt I do to have your love?
Your heart. Your smile. Your touch.
Your eyes.
Your warming arm on a lonely night...
All these things I miss
from you.

I asked, I prayed,
Did not receive
The wish I wished with all my heart,
And as each silent hour slipped by
That lonely heart,
That aching heart,
It slowly fell apart.
