I came to you that night
An invitation on my lips
Seeking through the void
Parting the mists of the psyche
Reaching through space and time
To touch you...
To dream of you touching me...
I never thought you would actually feel it too.
I hoped.
But even that crashed to the ground
Faster than I did that night
After you, and she, had gone.
But casual mention or much more than coincidence
My heart skipped beats
When you spoke of demons of the night,
As if you knew it was me.
As if you'd heard my whispers
Spoken only to the darkness
As I wrapped my spell around you,
A mystical caress,
Praying you'd hear me and whisper back.

Did I imagine it all?
Do you now dream of my embrace or hers?

I am so afraid
That until I stop dreaming
I will never know.

So when you feel me
Haunting breath upon your sleeping ears
Fear not.
Save me from myself.
Let me in
And we will soar together through night's embrace
Incubus and succubus intwined.

Until the night my love...
