My mind moved past the darkness
to a candle's flame burning bright
It sways slightly, dancing
upon the breeze that is my breath
So solitary and small yet so intense
It consumes the vision, until blinded
the mind drifts away from the room as
the world drifts away from me
and I think of the words.

·~+~ ~·~ ~+~·

Dream of wonder
for me

·~+~ ~·~ ~+~·

Canyons sunstreaked, rosekissed shining
fill my alternate vision,
spreading before me
like a rioted maze of cinnabar rust gold ambers
Over and into with a how of not knowing,
moved below
now surrounded
enveloped in

The reflections m.e.l.t. and in->ject
as the blue veils of my heart
float and become ~ infused ~
seeming as smoked twilight
Lavender phantom shadows drift and
I'm sighing butterflies with
smiles of timid moonbeams laced.
Blinking dragonflies of laughing
prismatic raindrops from my lashes.
Outward and about they fly and twirl
filling the air with lightness.
I'm spinning in their abandon.

My heartbeat (( echos )) off canyonwalls
calling to you from your yesterday
to the whisp of time that is my tomorrow.
I know you're out there.
I feel you within the memory dreams
standing just be/yond my reach
but within the valley of my knowing.

Can you see?

Quietly you have given me strength
without knowledge of the gift.
Able to see the within
of wrought word-tapestries.
I can not fit enough thank yous
into your basket
before I will be waking.
