where did she go
she's in the ditch
the ditch?
yep on the side of the road over there
and why is she over there?
it was on the other side of the bus
the bus?
yep, big thing right there
and how does the bus figure into all this?
well, you see when they needed someone to blame
they figured she was good at bouncing back from things like that.
so they 'threw her under the bus.'
good gods that's horrible!
how could you?
well you see now don't git your feathers all riled up spouting how unfair it is. you see someone has to keep the balance for us cynical bastards. we oversee the tossing and we keep the bus in good order and if you look it's clean as a whistle underneath. so there's no chance of anyone getting scraped up too badly or suffering any long term damage. just your normal bit of doubt, questioning of faith and determination, fellow man and all that other happy horse shit that goes along with it. so you see it's all very safe and cordial like. all on the up and up. we're very conscientious you know.
*astounded look*
so how did she wind up in the ditch then?
if this operation is such a well oiled machine, so to speak, how did she wind up way over there?
well now that's the thing of it.
see they threw her so hard, she went right under,
slicker than guilt on a catholic, and flew clear out the other side. never had that happen before.
we'll have to recalculate everything all over again now, so to make sure if it happens again they don't overshoot that there ditch.
we're still waiting for her to bounce back up though.
should be any minute now......
say there young man.....
you look like a real bounce back sort of person yourself.
what are you doing next Tuesday about this time?
