if i had the breath
would it do to speak soft
calm and vanilla against your soul
reminding it what gentleness
a simple whisper can possess
weaving barely audible devotion
and unending possibilities
against the hollow of your heart

if i had the breath
could i remember how soft innocence feels
take it back and brand it upon your lips

erasing fallen days past
promising dream filled dawns

if i had the breath
might it be possible for flower petals to speak
of how water rises and falls
to the power of our gravitational passions
drinking from its vitality
with resounding declarations and blazing conviction

if i had the breath
i'd smile graceful and beautiful
in the smallest of moments
with the brightest of faith
only my heart welling up with joy
to radiate from my eyes

i'd set alight the skies
fly with diaphanous wings blazing
streaking the clouds violet
to rouse the dawn to victorious hope

if i had the breath
this might be more than dreaming
but i'm raining
and no one breathes
under water

ah, if only I could drown in your rain... if only I could bathe while you breathe, if only I could float along the contours of your soul and be cleansed by your deep oceanus eyes... If I could give you my heart to soak up all your rain and watch your breath sweeten the atmosphere... If only, if ever, you are all of the glorious imagery and hope above and more, so much more. *bows before goddess of tendered words whispering faintly before swimming eyes* ♥

The flow of this was perfect... beautiful language. I wish I could make a comment with words as strong as that poem but I'm incapable. Well done *salutes*
