through the window
slipped solemn
the coolest breeze
brushing thoughts
with delicate fingers
crickets called
the last remnants
of summer
contemplating the space
between stars
somber tones whispered
.they come and go
and you keep reaching.
tainted faith sighed
.so we fall to attempt
to reach again.
a ghost of hope
that sincerity dwelt
in once soft words
her pulse slows
.impossible fool
dreaming with broken hands.
