moving with light feet
careful footfalls beneath the moon
desirous to disturb none
i moved unknown among the days
down winding and overgrown trails
yet you traveled long unyielding
and came to know the shape of my steps
following in your silent gate
gaining ground in soft resolve
then you caught me up in sweeping grace
as i faltered and nearly fell
with your fairytale eyes of kindness
lifting my sighs on whispered tomorrows
and i curled myself there against your heart
surrendering to the comfort of lightness
as you carried me in gentle strides
down a path of stars i never knew existed
