Throwing off the balance
Chemicals confused
Nothing seems to calm this
Nothing left to lose

how am I supposed to fight a war that has no end?
everything is disappearing, slipping through my hands

Crying myself to sleep
walking iniquity
hatred flows through my veins
morbid becomes my brain

medication is now
causing me to smile
Imprisoning the pain
I'm tranquil for a while

Artificial happiness has saved me from myself
Now I'm stuck in a dreamland I like to call my hell

Crying myself to sleep
walking iniquity
hatred flows through my veins
morbid becomes my brain

Nothing is concrete
all is a fantasy
a magic trick, an illusion
swallowing serenity
this is not
how I wanted to be
