(or: The Rainbow IS the Box)

Slipping on white lies
Sipping on white wine
Feeling the blues
And the violets[ence].

A strangled silence

Choked

Evoked a green for smoke

A fiend
For jokes and jealous
In the reddest ….
Reddest possible way.

Two hundred shades…
Each a different gray

All accolades
To the days of praise
When the rainbow
Held the only hues imaginable

With labels,
And sense to be made of it all

Unstable

Now unable to distinguish
The colors--
--From the intoxicating concepts

A deep breath--

--From the notion of living one more day.

Verbal karate wordplay. Killer. Had such a desperate tone. Like lashing out. But yeah, my favorite part is the incredible lyrical acrobatics. Missed your new stuff on the list. Write on.
