"Looking up at the stars, I know quite well
That for all they care, I can go to hell"***

Its a twisting path
that brings me here
and one of many darknesses

roadsigns all have question marks
(as if i should know the answer)
and
they
torment
me

Its a battle
more than a search
and its mostly in my head

"just accept it"
a thousand voices echo
from empty jars of apathy

but i spit back at them

"why would i resign myself
to unanswered questions
when to resign is just to die
and go on dying"

a restless mind
is a dangerous
insomniac
searching for the pillow
that brings sleep

I'm keeping madness in.

Every thought here can be applied directly to how I feel tonight. I like the poem a lot better than the reality :) that quote is sweet

After the first read I started reading this poem from the bottom and up stanza by stanza. For some reason .. And to my suprise it also worked for me.

I think that is pretty cool, a line of thoughts you can follow in many directions. Well done.

the world is an equilibrium numbing hike when you open a map and it's a mirror with the 'you are here' smudged off. more frightening still, when your company's soul speaks a foreign language of condescending syllables.

in this work's case, it seems the logical aid to seek is defunct, and the detour signs tie you in knots.
