Candle flickers
And shadows dance upon the wall
The smoke flies out the window
As rain jumps onto the sill
The roof above me creaks from squirrels
I know youre out there
Somewhere out there still
I’m waiting for your call
Maybe the lines are down
I’m waiting for my cell
To ring in the sweet tone
I set up for only you
The squirrels still run in the roof
The rain still hits hard
And the shadows dance in hope
That you are one your way home
