I don’t want to be here anymore
Sitting, staring
Waiting for you to speak
Hoping the awkward silence will end
I don’t want to be here
Sitting and staring
At what I might become
Poor and hopeless
No pride or self-respect
I don’t want to be here ever again
Sitting and staring
At a women who choose
To play the victim,
While running from man to man
I don’t want to be me right now
Being told to make your mistakes
So a child can never be
More successful then you
I don’t want to be the me you see
So I’ll stand up and walk out
Just because you created me
Doesn’t mean you decide who I am
