You see the traffic driving by
As I pull away from the curve
Sitting behind the wheel of my car
You'll never see me again
I never needed you
even when I thought I did
I was just fooling everyone
mostly myself
Cause even when you come around
I'm still alone in my heart
When I should be held by yours
But I never needed you
Even when you thought I did
Even when you thought
I'd never be able to leave
Cause I couldn't bare the pain of loneliness
But I was suffering through it
just to be near you
