I look into the mirror
and no longer see myself
I see a man with nothing
always crying out in desperation
with the hopes that someone
will soon find me
someone to take away my pain
and show me some kind of beauty
someone to help me forget about
a time long passed
a time when I was deceived
a time when the ones I loved
tore my heart apart
and left my soul to rot
slowly but surely changing me
into the heartless bastard you now see
as I look into the mirror
and reflect on my life
I find myself wanting desperately
to return to my old life
and leave this hell behind
