This is for my sweetheart - you know who you are...
Even though we can't always be together, you are always in my dreams
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Goodnight, My Love
As darkness falls
Creating shadows
Upon my walls
I'll take my pills
And close my eyes
Til daylight shines
And lights the sky
Til morning breaks
And sunlight beams
Of you, I'll think
Of you, I'll dream
As I drift to sleep
We meet again
You kiss my lips
And touch my skin
Goodnight, My Love
Though you're not here
Long as I sleep
I'll hold you near
How romantic, and yet. sad as well. "Long as I sleep I'll hold you near" I would never want to wake again.. -Michael
Such a wonderful display of affection amidst the otherwise gloominess around. Great fluidity.
