He loves me, but is not "IN LOVE" (?)

My magic cannot help me now
My spells they will not work
No charms or herbs or healing stones
Can take away this curse

I see you when I close my eyes
I can smell you on my skin
I long for us to be alone
To kiss you once again

You had no right to do this
This love spell that you've cast
To make me go so crazy
To make my heart beat fast

You said you didn't want to hurt me
Promised not to make me cry
In spite of all your promises
Tears still escape my eyes

I cry myself to sleep at night
Because I've realized the truth
No matter how I fight it
I'm still IN LOVE with you

I do understand the difference between 'I love you' and 'I am IN love with you'. One is just a feeling, the other is a choice to make it work, and keep it going. I also think it is a lousy cop-out. -Michael
