Angry at the world,
and standing on the ledge.
She's waiting for the wind to blow,
and knock her off the edge.
The cement's slick and wet,
just daring her to fall.
To finally start her ending,
so death can hear her call.
She doesen't agree with suicide,
and disagrees with life,
so she's waiting for an accident,
to ensure her chance to fly.
Desperate now and screaming,
at this storm she's waited for,
to blow away her pain,
cause she can't take it anymore.
She bids them all farewell,
as the wind picks up it's speed,
and grabs her dress with selfish hands,
so anxious to do it's deed.
She starts to lose her nerve,
and decides she must look down,
then has to gasp for air,
because she doesn't see the ground.
Angels wings had formed a circle,
to catch her if she fell,
and two more held her hands,
to keep this child from finding hell.
They lifted her up off the ledge,
as lightening flashed across the sky.
The angels sang beneath the moon,
as they taught her how to fly.
