Lead Me Moon

She blows her kisses to the wind,
the way a child might say good bye.
With her hands raised to the heavens,
she lets out a weary sigh.

She asks the moon above her,
if there's a path that she could take.
One to lead her to her dreams,
that are lost when she's awake.

She begs the moon to show her then,
when he says "yes, there is a way,
but once your dream is entered,
in your dream is where you'll stay."

She say's "I'm ready now and know,
what's waiting at this paths end,
This world I live in now is where,
my broken heart will never mend"

In my dreams I'm strong and firm,
and always seen by what's inside.
Nobody tells me how to live my life,
no rules by which I must abide.

The rainbow never fades away,
since promises won't be broken.
No one ever cries those lonely tears,
when "I love you's" are always spoken.

Sadness never blows my way,
on the winds of angry storms.
The sun above gives life to all,
and keeps my heart forever warm.

I trust you moon, to lead me,
above the ground you see it all.
Light my path tonight, I beg you,
take me to the waterfall.

I've seen it in my dreams at night,
and have to see what's there behind,
that flowing sheet of diamonds,
so introduce me to my kind.

It's the place where dreamers gather,
where their thoughts are finally free.
Take me moon to meet my people,
I've had too much reality.
