Lift me up to find the sun,
so the chill will go away.
Make my body warm again,
and save my heart I pray.

I fear it's turning into ice,
and spreading through my veins.
These wicked lies I've listened to,
have kept my love restrained.

I'm drifting where I dare not tread,
gripping everything in sight.
My fingers haven't got the strength,
so save my life tonight.

My feet have lost their way again,
I don't trust where I am going.
I'm running blind into the shadows,
and paranoia's quickly growing.

Thoughts are spinning way too fast,
and I need some time to think.
The grounds unstable under me,
I feel as though I'm going to sink.

Lift me high above the clouds,
and melt this heart of ice.
The aching cold will kill me slow,
So please release me from its vice.
