I sing my lonely love sick song,
so strong the earth could quake,
and everytime my words spill out,
my tears could fill the lakes.

The sadness in my shattered heart,
is even heavier than the rain.
It falls from me like from the clouds,
cause I can't hold in my pain.

If you feel the wind upon your face,
then you've felt me deeply sighing.
The wind blew strong while I was broken
and the pieces all went flying.

All that's left of me now is my song,
that I'll sing down through the years,
and if you should ever hear my voice,
hold onto your heart or cover your ears.

The pain you express in this poem seeps from it so that you cant help but feel it for yourself. I love the last line too - its almost childlike the idea of covering your ears to not hear something. I feel this reminds us of the innocence of love.
