I never thought I'd find myself
just sitting in the rain,
waiting for the day to come
when God takes all my pain.

Nothing matters anymore,
cause nothings going to change.
Still waiting for a sunny day,
when life gets rearranged.

I'm getting older by the day,
and time goes passing by.
I've failed at every single plan,
don't know why I even try.

You can say that I'm depressing,
if that's what builds you up,
but I say I'm just confessing,
as I sit here getting drunk.

Still waiting for my ship to sail,
one day it's going to float,
unless believing broken promises,
just made me miss the boat.
