I painted stars tonight
In bleeding gold and scattered screams
I bled for you
thunder funneled through my muted symphony

It adds to the agony of breathing
These days
Crushed on velvet wings
This time means nothing

again

I shot a butterfly for landing on my porch today

fireworksin the microwave
and a hairspray martini later
I'm wondering if this wound is infected-

just so you know.

I'd beat my heart bloodless

[foryou]

This was just lung crushing I couldn't breathe anymore if I wanted to, it was full of passionate abuse and longing for the one you love, and it just gave me rebounding chills down my singing spine ~nightly
