sometimes there are no words
that can accurately express
the sentiment and concern
dwelling in my heart

and slowly suffocating
beneath the weight of these memories
and thoughts regarding
the division in our lives,
is the picture of the four of us
that i’ve held in reverence
for such a very long period of time

not mine or yours
or these, or those
so, i’ll save my breath
and you save yours
because, sometimes
there are no words –
nothing to speak
and no one to really hear you

I love this because I relate so well to it. Never being truly heard is something I go through often. Great write. Julia~

Yeah sometimes I can't just some up in short writes what others seem capabable of doing -my derisory hyperbole has to make do - just the right weight and feel to pierce in the skin here.
