my love for you in
this world will
not cease
as when one draws
her last breath,
there will be no
conscious exhalation
only the same
far off dulling
of the eyes I had
when ours
first met, and
our hearts
laughter will
resonate in my
ears, as peaceful as the low
murmur of the
world on a quiet night

If your eyes were dull when they crossed paths, shouldn't that have said something? ...still what a sultry/morose write. Very nice. =)
