They're always there, but you can't see them.

In the shadows, waiting for me.

My soul they find and to hell condemn,

The evil inside that no one can see.

They are haunting me, as I feel their presence,

Feel the hand on my shoulder, their hate that grows harder,

They smother me as I become complacent,

Giving in to their demands, I become my own martyr.

They feed on me but what can I do?

How can I resist as I lose this fight?

All that I see that once was so true,

Has turned into ashes and nothing seems right.

You've never seen them but I have,

Dark in the shadows they wait,

Always my shoulder they grab,

Till deep in my heart I will hate.

Later they come in my dreams,

Smother my breath with their dark,

Till all that's heard are my screams,

My soul bears the sign of their mark.

I cry out to God for His aid,

I scream out in terror and pain,

Slowly the Demons then fade,

My soul I begin to regain.
