Like sizzling sparks ignited into dazzling fireworks
Though evanescent still leaves a feeling of warmth
Ever comforting, never discouraging
I know my stay here in DP isn't for nought.
To which days pass & seasons change
& time seem to disappear in dusky sunlight & smoke
One would never forget someone special
Who uses winter to pale the pelting sunlight,
tinting the mountain gold
Where to me, a world lit by computer screens instead of the sun doesn't matter anymore
As it is through here where i found release from harsh lines and countless chores
Through it all my concentration narrows down to a single thought
Which is to credit my Poet-hero for the endless smiles he has brought
& just like a conductor climaxing his piece to the crescendo
and feeling immense pride as he finishes it hearing an encore,
I lay awake with a feeling of contentment in my heart,
Knowing that winter this year wouldn't be that cold...
(Well Dan, this piece is specially written 4 u...Thanks loads 4 being one of the lights in my life, & 4 all the nice emails we exchanged. i thought its due time i credit u 4 ya kindness & friendship. My writing ain't great, but i hope u'll like it all the same :) )
