I came across a silvered sunbeam
Just the other day
The kind of sunbeam you’d sleep in
Almost everyday

No matter how I tried
Tears came to my eyes
Cos today isn’t almost everyday

Night is falling
Dreams are waking
Softly do you thread
In my mind
Dawn is breaking
Mists are fading
Still I see you there
In my mind

Angels singing
God is listening
Softly do you thread
In my mind

In Loving Memory
