With daffodils and ecstasy pills,
I await the morrow's dawn.
But what relief hath they brought to me?
'Tis for you I wrote this poem.
I feel a stirring within my chest,
The beating of my heart.
‘Tis this how it feels to love,
So lost when we’re apart?
Hold my hand, gentle love
Guide this sightless man.
Bring me away to where you’ll go,
A milk and honeyed land.
