As it courses through my veins
Desire & despair
The silence echoes still
The film of red with eyes wide shut

I am the deleted message
Read, masticated, ingested, digested
Given no voice
Red, rejected, redundant, unwanted

& as I lie here in the dark
Together with other broken things

A doll forgotten
A toy soldier unloved

Sleeping the eternal slumber
I'd crawl on hands & knees
To be remembered

So sad,so true.some people only need to "press a button" and we are deleted from (their) life.
