I can't stay away from them
I think it's funny how easy
I let myself fall in "Love" and
How much I hate to fall out of it...
you put your arms around my waist and
gently pull me to you...
and I can feel myself slipping
out of my shield and closer to you
Then suddenly
I'm back
In my world of shields
and thinking of you
and wanting to let myself fall for you
but stopping short
thinking
"What if you ARE like everyone else?"
and
"What if you are going to kill me slowly?"
I don't know what I'd do
But I have to finally take that chance
