The scars on my soul

Penetrate to the black depths.

Scars for love, hate, and self-destruction.

You ask me why I hurt

I ask you why you care.

When you walked away

The tissue gave away

The blood trickled down

To form a crimson pool.

You don't care about me

You're in your own narcissistic world.

Leave me alone

And I will never ask you to come back.

The solitude is my only comfort,

The silence my only song.

The darkness hugs me as the madness

Takes over.

I remember you.

This scar is for you.

This was an interesting yet dark work of art! Matched the title of 'Scars' very well! Relatable in the sense that such depression seems a universal issue!
