What is love?
Is there such a thing,
Or is it just a feeling,
Of needing someone there.
You Yearn fo someone to
Hold you in the middle of the night;
Someone to take away the pain,
And make life worth living.
The truth is anyone can do that.
All they have to do is,
Wrap their arms around you and
Say three words;
Words that make you believe
there is such a thing,
Even though there's not.
It's just another lie we created.
Something that would make us happy.
Love isn't real, it never was.
It's just another comfort.
Love is Dead.

yes, love is merely a human concept and invention. I think psychologists call love an abstract concept or theory, rather then a concrete one (such as a chair)..... excellent write. Thank you.

A creature comfort, a blanket of flesh that utters hollow words into our ear from time to time. Well done. ~ mw
