BellaDonna

BellaDonna's picture It pains me think you think me weak
because of the freedom with which I speak
what is it I wonder, you could possibly be seeing
when you're only looking at my eyes and not into me being
I thought you'de guess I guard my pain too,
I guess I just guard it better than you
supressed, dorment, even call it disguised
I call it a lie by looking in you're eyes
You tell me these things I'll just have to find,
how can I when you won't let me try?
and what about the things I see that you don't know are there,
You make me feel I have no right to make you aware
You're brave with what you say but do you dare,
to honestly look inside and stare
at the things that are true and bare in you
the things that reside under frost and gloom?
In the shadows grow the most fragile blooms
the strength in me is one that you don't understand
it doesn't need shown but it's there on command
I too, love, stand alone
but walking that way is rather hard
though in myself I've found a home,
where I revel in my forbiddon dark-
where is it now that I can roam,
when I know to find you in the park?
One so hopeless yet carries such a spark
Set me free or come to me
when you do, know how to believe
In the Knight that you don't see I've seized
company in darkness an unknown peace
