I am plagued by a sickness that cannot be remedied by mere mortals' magic.
Once introduced to vice, the first impression's lasting affect is all too tragic.

Feeling what I've felt, now knowing, what I do,
There is no conceivable way that I could possibly substitute.

Endlessly stuck, am I, in this swirling chasm of doom,
Longing and loathing for the very same feeling that seems to come too soon.
