Casting shadows dancing there,
The wall a paint of obsidian essence,
Languid images all blurring together
And fading out and in to form sepaerate
Again.

My mind aches from the ballet
Of suffuring, some quiet response laid open
On my palms. Some simple offering
To push them away.
My soul just leaping along though,
Now tossed to the tall one,
Passed of to the shorter...
I’ve tried to turn away.

Each moment on sufferage
Is casting me further into the dance,
The twists are natural now,
Could i find my way back,
Do i really want that capsule of flesh again?
But my eyes are glued, not seeing, just open.

The music creeps in, and my feet are
Pouncing, on another hapless walker-by,
Drifting on their soul, grasping its hand,
I took the newest offering,
And twisted hips to the rhythum,
Bouncing on drum-beats, stepping on violin notes.

And with a jolt, my soul is ripped,
The music screeched, the dance interupted
By some outside light.
My shadows are fleeing,
Scratching on the shadows gone.
Sunlight pours in
Waking my body, clasping eyelids shut.

By illusion i might find my friends behind that darkness,
The purple haze behind light-guards,
But they have all escaped now...
With resolution of flesh, and against
My better will, i open those lids,
Greeting sunlight in praise-soaked fingers,
And slowly the desire of the moment fades,
Just like shadows once did i think...
