This is my nephew William when he was 15 years old (2003).

I shot this picture on a cheap Kodak digital camera in St. Louis just for grins and giggles.

I occurred later to me to scan this in to Photoshop and play with it.

I found the sparks from Google search that came from a guy using a metal grinder.

The smoke from the shoes is airbrushed in manually (I need more practice).

The appearance of motion is simple selecting background pixels and using Photoshop's motion blur filter.
