Our lips part
ever so softly we fade
back into day
into the light
escaping the night
in your tender refuge
I hold
to abandon this world of stone
breathing for spite
You give me breath
you give me life
In suspended animation I lie
until Im by your side
back into darkened flight
escaping the light
ever so softly we hide
in the solace of night
