If I cried forever
where would the river lead?
Would it run to an endless ocean
or lead you back to me?

Im struck by this pain
In an unusual way...
forgiving myself but
blaming myself without a word to say.

If time could run in reverse
what would make it better?
I wouldnt change a thing, or take you out
I couldnt be more clever

And all I can do
is write these thoughts
and cry these tears
that you've brought

I'll cry these tears
til the day I die
And continue to hold
our love on high
