It was hell by day and heaven by night
Her eyes shown like piercing diamonds worth more than money can buy
He wiped away her gleaming tears and told her it was ok
They would make it
This fight was nothing
She was wishing this was true as she looked at the past years with him
A story for each bruise and scar
She would tell herself he didn't mean for anything bad to happen
He never did and it was her fault
She was the one to blame
He would give her hell by day and heaven by night
