As morning lurks behind me the flower petals lean in to hear the words trickling from my tongue
They gossip of my madness and tease me about my schizoid ways of life
I scream out for God to listen
I can’t take it anymore!
This game of deceit and false distortion of systematic alliances cannot be what I live for
I scream out incomprehensible words of nonsense and bolt out of bed
The flower garden is mocking me
Teasing as they sway in the wind
I madly pull out the flowers
Severing their little withstanding bodies
When all but one is left I weep for the last one and carefully pull it out
This last one is like someone I know too well
Someone I know
Way too well
